Windows 7 IT Pro. I recently up graded to Windows 7 following a computer crash.

Careful though, as selecting an incorrect resolution will result in no picture being displayed - if this happens don't press anything and just wait for XP to change the resolution back. Just an opinion and looking for information.

It appears that Vido does not have a Windows 7 compatible graphics driver for your chipset if I read the Intel website correctly. Try installing the XP driver in compatability mode.

Upgrade from Intel G card Apr 14, They also mentioned a "6. Microsoft does not publish any drivers for Intel hardware.

It's not so much an "upgrade" but finding any Windows 7 compatible driver for your motherboard, including the integrated graphics. If you were then to go back to the display properties page you should have a wider choice of resolutions. It has nothing to do with the normal operation of Windows 7. What does "x" mean? Are you just messing around with it and have found it to be true?

Not particularly Stellar vkdeo but it works. You would need to run Windows 7 permanently in XP compatibility mode always. All games worked when I had Windows XP.
